One-Curve Chair
In this project I undertook the exciting task of designing and crafting a chair from bent plywood, using birch veneers as the material. My goal was to create a chair where all the pieces followed a simple curve, allowing for a unified mold. Achieving the desired curvature involved creating multiple mockups, refining the design along the way. To maintain the chair’s simplicity, I employed concealed joinery techniques, expertly executed with a domino machine.
